Very easy to install, I googled how to install the hitch for my type of vehicle and a very helpful diy video came up on you tube. The plug and play wiring was a snap! The only professional tool you'll need is a torque wrench. Unless your a mechanic I do recommend a helper to hold the hitch in place while you put in the bolts.
