In terms of the cosmetic appearance, these side step bars are exactly what I was looking for. They seems sturdy and should last as long as the car. I only gave it 4 stars because of the following:

--> the installation instructions just plain sucked. The wording and diagrams were vague and difficult to understand. Example: didn't say exactly which washers went with which bolts or nuts.
--> two of the hardware pieces were the wrong size and required me to modify the underside of my car, which added an extra hour to the installation.
--> some of the screw & bolts should have been black to match the bars.

But these are minor gripes, and overall, I'm very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone.
