UTV Belt Temperature Gauge for Can Am Maverick (all yrs) Review

I purchased this product for a 2013 Can Am Maverick because they are known for blowing the drive belts. And at $165 a piece, this was a no brainer....The instructions were spot on and very simple to follow. The gauge is very easy to read in both day and night time conditions with the integrated back lighting. The unit absolutely works as advertised. The only complaint I could find and this was really not a complaint but more of a personal preference would be to have a traditional style gauge. What I mean by this is this gauge has a threaded back and must be mounted on a flat surface. I wanted to mount it using an angled bezel plate so I could have it more directional to the drivers view. This wasn't possible to do. So take that into consideration when choosing your mounting location. And this is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. So if this is of no concern to you, it would be a great item to have. And it basically pays for itself by allowing you to monitor your CVT temps and prevent damage tothe belt and eventual failure. I have only put 200 plus miles on my Maverick since installing it, but it has helped me on several occasions from overheating the belt and hopefully prolonging the life of the belt in the process.
