This intake replaced a K&N drop-in filter; $46.98 at Auto Zone (boring I know) This thing, above all, sounds insane on my 2002 Ford Escape V6. It makes the motor growl! (literally) I can't help but to poke at the gas petal while cruising just to hear it purr. Performance wise, I DID notice a better throttle response and it seems to make the vehicle alot more fun to drive. Installation seemed intimidating but it was a breeze! 10mm wrench/extension, flathead and your done. I let my friend drive it and he was psyched over the sound! He is in the the process of buying one for his 06 F-150. Just get one allready! Def. worth it.
