-This part works exactly as it should. As it reads directly from the ECU, it gives quick accurate readings on what gear you are in. One thing that I did notice when using the gear indicator when riding is that during downshifts, while the clutch is engaged, it will give you a different gear number until the clutch is disengaged. Once the clutch is disengaged, the gear indicator will read the correct gear that you just downshifted to.
- It installs very easily. Just plug it in the ECU port on the right hand side of the bike near the back and you are good to go. Took about 15 minutes to do.
