I like this product because it is a well made product. The product is made in Sweden and the steel it is made of high quality and thick and straight unlike similar units made in China (Chinese steel is poor because they have a poor annealing process). The Thule appears to powdered coated. The rack itself bolts into your Class 1 hitch making it extremely sturdy and stable!! The bikes load on the rack with ease and the straps to secure them are very thick and strong.. I place a bungie through all 4 bikes and it all stays in place, rock solid! It best to mount your bikes on a hitch and not one of those funky strap on deals that scratch your paint or put pressure on your window glass or trunk/bumper.
