Kenwood XR-1S eXcelon Reference Fit Vehicle Mono Digital Power Amplifier Review

This mono amp is great. I am powering two Kicker CVR 15s with it in a custom made box I built myself. It runs very cool and the built in fans are very quiet; you can hear them but only when the volume is all the way down. I really like how it has 4 terminals so that people can wire a single dual voice coil subwoofer into it and not have to do any parallel or series wiring with it, you can simply connect it positive to positive, negative to negative. Of course I had to wire my subs like this ([...]) because i am running two subs. Anyways, it is small in size but packs a serious punch. Other upsides is that it is CEA-2006 compliant and it seems very durable.
