Northern Industrial Tools Pickup Truck Crane - 1000-Lb. Capacity Review

This item arrived earlier than expected and I was surprised at the quality of the crane. I have a three-quarter ton pickup truck and this crane works well with the truck. The post and arm of the crane are constructed of heavy steel, solid welds, and a hard epoxy type paint finish. The hydraulic ram is well made and all the parts fit together perfectly. My only negative is with the cable on the winch, The cable is about 5/16 inch diameter and is a little too thick for the winch spindle. The first couple of turns of the winch bend the cable quite tight but then as the winch fills the cable works well. There is no cable guide to layer the cable on the winch as the winch fills; this causes the cable to bunch and the load to jerk as it is lifted. Although it would reduce the rating, i would suggest a smaller diameter cable or a larger spindle on the winch. In any case, the crane and winch are awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone that needs to swing heavy loads onto their truck

I've yet to be disappointed with any of my Williams tools purchases. I decided to take a chance on these for my metric set to compare with my Snap-On SAE wrenches. The thickness of the beam in your hands is much more comfortable than the Snap-On wrenches when really putting a lot of force into them. The grooves in the open end work great for gripping rusted rounded off fasteners. I've been using them daily as a diesel mechanic, and have been considering trading out my Snap-On set for an SAE set of these. Excellent wrenches, and worth every penny.

Airaid 310-212 AIRAID Cold Air Dam Intake System Review

Ive always put some sort of K&N filter or intake system on my vehicles. I mostly do it to try and squeeze whatever MPG out I can. I am realistic and dont expect any real HP gains.

That being said, this product is very well made. The installation instructions were easy to follow and had great pictures.

The air box fit my 2012 Grand Cherokee V6 with no modifications, it dropped right in.

A little side note with this intake system. This one doesn't have that annoying vacuum/sucking noise that most intakes have.
