I do not think there is a safe way to ship this product without the packaging getting dented. The box was a little warn when it arrived to no fault of anyone involved. All items were still in the box as Reese did a great job attaching the necessary hardware to the hitch. The hitch bolted on with no issue, and looks great attached. I have not towed anything very heavy yet, but the small trailer I did tow stayed with me, so I guess that means it was installed properly and worked.
