I found that these cross bars were easy to install on my 2010 highlander. They seem to do the job great. I have used my Yakima bike racks and had no problem. Just be sure that you have a paint can opener on hand to get the trim pieces off the roof rack for installation. (the instructions actually say that they are easy to break and include the part number to reorder...I didn't want to break the trim pieces on my car, so I found a video on Youtube suggesting the use of the paint can opener...worked perfectly.)
