Wherever power management system is required, the 4x4 PRO SERIES provide the surge protection you need to keep your rack safe from unwanted disruption.All PRO SERIES models have an additional internal discrete module called APFTM (Advanced Power Filtering) which filters out digital and dimmer hash as well as any high frequency noise that is above the audio range. Some off-the-shelf add-on modules saturate and lose their filtering effectiveness as the load increases, but by using a high power discrete design we were able to create a filter that stays effective over the full operating range.

I can't tell you how much I love having these. I bought 2 to use with some Crown XTIs in a rack. The value is just wonderful.

It comes with 2 front pull out lights, and a gooseneck back-rack light which is also included, not extra.

But the real superstar is the visible easily from 70 feet away LED displays of the house voltafe, and your immediate amperage reading.

Give you an example of how important each are in case you're not an electrical engineer. If the house voltage is reading high (above 125) you'll know that there is usually some risk of dangerous surge, but if its too LOW (114 and below) you'll know that the circuit you're on may not be healthy enough for sudden power demands.

But even better is the amp draw display. Its made diagnosing blown speakers more simple. Example: a speaker is blown somehow. If you're watching the amps and they never get higher than 5, then you know you're probably not using all of the watts on the amplifier when it blew. That leaves mechanical failure, or clipped signal allowing thermal failure (and NOT overpowering thermal failure). Both of these problems are easy to correct ahead of time.
