Spectre Performance 9923 Air Intake Kit with Red hpR Filter for Ford Mustang 4.6L Review

Item arrived in very good time.
Parts quality look fine.
Instructions were straight forward and it took less than an hour to fit. (Flat blade screwdriver, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm socket required and maybe a sharp knife to trim the hoses for a better fit)
Only note would be that if your stock set-up does not include an Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (in the top of the pipe) then you'll need to plug the pre-drilled hole / grommet with some type of plug.... not a big issue but worth noting.
I'm picking performance MIGHT be better but it does look nice. :)
Amazon gave this to me for about a third the price of the equiv K&N product - which is LIKELY a better quality product - i.e. 1 or 2 extra HP over the Spectre 9923 but I was put of with some of the comments regarding the K&N being a tight fit against the oil cap which is not the case with the Spectre 9923.

5stars. I purchased this for my 2006 Altima 2.5s. Looks and performs with quality. Comes with warranty and Roadside Assistance. Be prepared for a pain on installation due to Nissan's design of not taking into account R&R of parts. Wheel must come off, Inner wheel skirt, Top engine cover, Fuse panel to left of alternator (bottom bolt is a few inches too long to extract without un bolting and moving fuse panel). Five minutes to bolt in alternator, Forty-five for prep and post, fighting extreme heat & mosquitos.

The cover fits my 2011 Camaro well. I like the shark fin pouch, and the light gray color.

The storage bag could be larger, though. The cover does fit in the bag, but not without a lot of work to fold the cover correctly and to compress it flat enough. I will probably never try to use the storage bag again because of it's small size.
