This tool is used for fixing and repairing commercial semi truck tire chains. I bought this because Amazon.com checked and told me it is AMERICAN made. So - I really thought I had to have cold air intake and dual exhaust on my 2011 Silverado Crew Cab 5.3LV8 - but let me tell you - the resonance in the truck was so loud - you could not talk nor could you listed to the radio. after talking to Airaid and then finally going back to stock intake with only the Airaid synthetic filter - it was great! to be honest - I think the problem was the truck - the system let so much air in, that that fender panels got to vibrating creating the resonance in the cab. I have lots of friends with cold air intakes and they have no problems, and in their cabs, sounds perfectly normal - but my Silverado Crew Cab and this product did nto agree. If your not 100% sure - Airaid gives you a 90 day return - I got mine refunded in full since it was not what I wanted - and they were AWESOME to help me try to figure it out before I finally threw in the towel, so if in doubt - test it out!!!

The primary reason I purchased the item was to carry bikes securely. That works very well. With the 59904 bike mounting adapter kit, the bikes simply do not move - no more bumping into each other, scratches, etc. It can also be used to carry firewood while camping, keeping back of my Equinox clean. Be warned, it is heavy. Hard to lift and insert into the hitch by just one person. Not impossible, just hard. Then inserting the pin means getting on your knees and bending under the platform. Again, not impossible, just a little difficult. The biggest issue I have with it is the mount does not fit tight in the receiver. So the whole platform tilts from side to side. Need to find some way to get a better fit. But the unit worked in a recent trip from Ohio to Minnesota and back, so if you can live with the downside, it is a good sturdy product.

My product did come in the two days promised, but the box was damaged and the paint was also scratched.
