When I measured my head according to the instructions on Pyrotect's website, the measurement fell right at the line between Medium and Large. I ordered a large, and as can be expected, it felt just a bit too large because of this.

I called Pyrotect and their friendly customer service staff assisted me by choosing cheek pads with a better fit than the ones that came with this helmet. They also sent foam liner shims that further aided in the fitment of this helmet in the forehead area. I had to pay a nominal fee for the pads, which they reimbursed upon receiving the ones that came with the helmet.
